Great Grey Owl

With their almost completely round faces and their thick 'blanket' of feathers the beautiful Great Grey Owls are a firm favourite among the visitors to the centre.  They have remarkable hearing and are able to detect their favourite food, lemmings, under three feet of snow!

The picture shows just one Great Grey owl but why not adopt both a male and the female as a pair for an extra £50? Our current pair are very good breeders so you stand a good chance of becoming an 'Owl Grandparent'!

You can also adopt a part share in a Great Grey Owl for just £25. Don't worry you don't need to find three other friends to share it with and you will receive all the same 'goodies' as a full adoption!
