Ferruginous Pygmy Owl

The owl with a name longer than itself! The Ferruginous Pygmy Owl grows to a maximum of 20cm long. But don't let it's size fool you, these little birds are full of character and can be very fierce, in the wild they can hunt prey larger than themsleves, such as doves and thrushes!
